The Senior Network Analyst serves as the senior technical expert for Microsoft (MS) applications design, development, and management. The individual is accountable for all aspects of MS Windows requirements and manages the hands-on, day-to-day issues related to MS Windows across all networks. The primary focus includes server virtualization administration, baseline image maintenance, and software deployment package creation using SCCM.
Job Responsibility:
Provides senior-level technical support for Windows Operating Systems and Servers, including Windows 7, Windows Server 2008R2, Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Exchange (or designated replacements)
Builds and maintains server and workstation baseline images for multiple security enclaves, including travel, stand-alone networks, and single-purpose devices such as Virus Scanners and Data Transfers
Serves as the senior technical expert for all VMware systems and servers on all networks, providing design, implementation, and maintenance for the virtualization infrastructure development life cycle
Responsible for building and maintaining software sanctuary and deployment packages using SCCM
Provides virtualization administration and maintenance for virtual environments and resolves complex problems for supported infrastructure in sanctuary, deployment, or exercises
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and supervisor’s instruction to maximize personal output
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company
Requirements:
Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance at the time of proposal submission and be able to attain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access by the issuance of the contract
Must be willing to undergo and pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must obtain/retain a government background investigation commensurate with position requirements
Must possess a Security+ Certification
Must possess a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification
Must possess VMware certification and experience
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop environments
Advanced proficiency in server virtualization, specifically VMware vSphere
Proven experience in managing enterprise-level baseline images and automated software deployment (SCCM)
Strong communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates
Knowledge of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), Army Intelligence, and Microsoft Office/SharePoint
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field and a minimum of eight (8) years’ MS Systems Administration experience, including 3–5 years of VMware vSphere Administration
OR a minimum of twelve (12) years’ MS Systems Administration experience, including 3–5 years of VMware vSphere Administration and possession of a CISSP certification
