Job Description

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior .NET Developer in Poland or Ukraine. It's a long term project that helps to maintain government facilities on the Channel Islands. The systems include testing for driving license, car registration, fines from video registration; taxation for real estate; users space; custom facilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the system maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Lead design and development of new system areas, processes and business logic
  • Resolve technical issues and ensure system stability
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and guide refactoring efforts
  • Ensure knowledge sharing, collaboration and mentorship for new developers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery
  • Support deployment and post-release monitoring
  • Ensure technical documentation and knowledge capture

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience with ASP.NET WebForms
  • Willingness to work with custom-developed framework based on ASP.NET WebForms (with introduced controller concept) and utilizing ASP.NET / AJAX
  • Proficiency in C#, T-SQL
  • Deep understanding of .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Core internals
  • Experience with reflection, dynamic loading, and custom control libraries
  • Ability to work with ViewState, PostBack, and server-side controls
  • Familiarity with AJAX Extensions and partial page updates
  • Understanding of custom ORM patterns and how they interact with LINQ and SQL
  • Experience with implementing a custom ORM built on top of LINQ
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English
