Senior National Account Manager role for a global pet care and pet products manufacturer. The role is home-based with travel throughout the UK and to Ireland, reporting to the Global Consumer BUD. The key purpose is to maintain and grow accounts, influence UK strategy, and be the key client-facing representative.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and ideally grow each account, either with additional SKU’s or new product lines
Working closely with the global team for support
Provide market intelligence which is instrumental in shaping the UK strategy
Managing a £25m portfolio of accounts
Increasing SKUs and product inception
Lead commercial negotiations and key category range reviews
Create, implement, and manage JBP’s
Requirements:
Currently managing or working closely with a range of National Accounts
Experience managing national accounts across retail, discounters, wholesalers and/or Distributors
Have owned a category (e.g., personal care, health & beauty, household, electronics, seasonal, care or garden care, accessories, possibly food or beverage)
Managed similar sized accounts or account potential
Ability to handle complex challenging negotiations
Ability to gather data and information and convert it into actionable tasks/strategies
Must be a driving force
Someone who believes in being visible at National/Regional and Local level
Someone who thrives with data and using that to make effective strategic decisions
What we offer:
£12,000 – £17,500 Bonus (split quarterly and annually)
