Are you ready to step into a Senior National Account Manager role where you can genuinely shape the direction of two of the UK’s most important grocery relationships and make an immediate commercial impact? Signature Career Management are partnering with a well-established global FMCG business behind a portfolio of iconic, heritage-rich foods. The UK arm operates at pace, with agility, entrepreneurial-spirit, and a hunger to outperform, while being backed by the scale and stability of a multi-billion-pound global organisation. The business is now entering its next phase of growth and is looking for a commercially sharp SNAM to take ownership of two key top 4 grocery accounts. This is a high-visibility role with real autonomy, strong senior support, and the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution at pace. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Controller and manage one direct report, developing both the account strategy and offering guidance and support to your team while driving performance across the portfolio.

Job Responsibility

  • Take full ownership of two major grocery accounts, developing and executing joint business plans that deliver sustainable growth
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level customer relationships, positioning the business as a proactive and trusted partner
  • Lead commercial negotiations, promotional planning, and range/price architecture to maximise profitability and volume
  • Develop and mentor a direct report, ensuring strong executional support and capability growth within the team
  • Spot and convert commercial opportunities quickly, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic value
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and category to ensure seamless execution

Requirements

  • Experienced Senior National Account Manager with a strong track record across top 4 grocery
  • Confident people leader, able to coach, develop, and get the best out of others
  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation skills and a clear understanding of P&L drivers
  • Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Naturally curious, entrepreneurial in approach, and always looking for better ways to do things
  • Strong communicator who can influence internally and externally at a senior level
