Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Murex Reporting Consultant to lead the design, development, and optimization of reporting solutions within the Murex platform. The consultant will play a key role in delivering robust and scalable reporting frameworks, ensuring alignment with business, risk, and regulatory needs. This role contributes directly to enhancing data transparency, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities across trading and risk functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and implementing reporting solutions using Murex (Datamart, Reporting Layer, and interfaces)
  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements related to regulatory, risk, and P&L reporting
  • Developing, optimizing, and maintaining Datamart extraction processes and reporting workflows
  • Configuring and supporting reporting tools such as MX.3 Datamart and MxML Exchange
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across all reporting outputs
  • Collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and IT teams to deliver effective reporting solutions
  • Supporting system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Providing production support, including troubleshooting and resolving reporting issues
  • Enhancing performance of reporting processes and data extraction jobs
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal data governance standards

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of strong experience with Murex MX.3, with a focus on Reporting and Datamart modules
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering reporting solutions within Murex
  • Solid understanding of capital markets products, including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives
  • Good knowledge of regulatory and risk reporting concepts (e.g., P&L, VaR, sensitivities)
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex query development and performance tuning
  • In-depth understanding of Murex Datamart architecture and data workflows
  • Experience with XML and MxML Exchange, as well as data modeling and ETL processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
