Job Description:

Manage, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments. Perform backup, recovery, replication, high availability (AlwaysOn, clustering, log shipping), and performance tuning activities. Implement and automate regular DBA tasks using T-SQL scripts or other automation tools. Diagnose and resolve complex database issues efficiently with minimal downtime. Collaborate with development teams for query optimization and database design improvements. Support and manage Azure SQL Databases and cloud-based data solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Manage, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments
Perform backup, recovery, replication, high availability (AlwaysOn, clustering, log shipping), and performance tuning activities
Implement and automate regular DBA tasks using T-SQL scripts or other automation tools
Diagnose and resolve complex database issues efficiently with minimal downtime
Collaborate with development teams for query optimization and database design improvements
Support and manage Azure SQL Databases and cloud-based data solutions

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of SQL Server internals, performance tuning, and query optimization
Strong experience with backup & recovery strategies, clustering, and replication
Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database or Managed Instances
Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and automation
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or Azure Database Administrator Associate) are preferred
