They have an exciting opportunity to join them as a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter within their Commercial Lines Team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Underwriting bespoke commercial motor trade risks in line with the company strategy and underwriting criteria
  • Supporting profitable growth by underwriting both new and existing business, including regular on-site underwriting at broker offices
  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with a panel of Mid-Market brokers
  • Keeping up to date with market developments, legislation and trends that may impact underwriting decisions

Requirements:

  • Experience underwriting and trading commercial motor products
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Awareness of market, legal and industry developments
  • The ability to manage and prioritise work effectively across a varied portfolio
