Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Middle Office Analyst – Insurance Operations to lead the management of credit insurance across commercial lending and asset finance transactions. This role requires strong hands-on experience in a banking middle office environment, with full ownership of insurance processes, close interaction with Front Office teams, and a high level of responsibility for operational risk and controls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for credit insurance across all relevant lending transactions
  • Oversee the calculation, validation, and processing of insurance premiums
  • Ensure accurate booking, monitoring, and reconciliation of insurance-related transactions in Loan IQ
  • Review complex insurance policies and related legal documentation
  • Perform and validate pre-funding insurance checks
  • Serve as the main point of contact for insurance-related matters
  • Monitor insurance covenants and reporting obligations
  • Drive process improvements across insurance booking, reconciliation, controls, and reporting

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending or asset finance operations within a commercial bank
  • Proven, hands-on experience managing insurance on lending transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Loan IQ
  • Solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of financial statements and comfort with financial ratio analysis

Nice to have:

Experience with Cash Plus and FBTI is a plus
