Meon Way Federation is currently seeking a Senior Midday Meal Supervisor to join our team on a Permanent contract. Based at Moorings Way Infant School or Meon Infant School, you will lead and support our Midday Meals Supervisors during the lunch time period. This role plays a vital part in ensuring safety, wellbeing and positive social development of our pupils during lunchtime. You will supervise a small team of lunchtime staff, promote positive behaviour and help create a happy, safe and inclusive lunchtime environment for all pupils.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Supervise and support a team of Midday Meals Supervisors
Arrange and facilitate appropriate play and physical activities
Supervise pupils in the dining areas and playgrounds
Ensure good standards of behaviour by the pupils are maintained
Assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc)
Provide welfare support to the pupils of the school, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training)
Attend appropriate training sessions in order to increase knowledge and skills
To ensure First Aid is given and actions are recorded in the First Aid book
To ensure confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the children and the school
To be flexible and adaptable to deal with the changing needs of the school
