Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join our BI operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployments, configurations, and technical support of Microsoft Power BI Service and related applications in on-premises infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with Azure services and on-premises data sources.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with architects and operations teams to support deployment and configuration of Microsoft Power BI Service, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
  • monitor health, performance, and usage of Power BI Service and related services
  • update data gateway platforms regularly for security and compatibility
  • create and configure Power BI Workspaces with appropriate roles
  • monitor workspace activity and permissions compliance
  • support deployment of Power BI content and manage user roles via Power BI Admin Portal
  • troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure tenant, data gateways, and connectivity to on-premises data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, SharePoint)
  • conduct rigorous testing for new versions and patches to ensure functionality, performance, and security
  • enhance operational efficiency by automating tasks and defining clear procedures
  • train team members on gateway use and troubleshooting
  • participate in 24/7 operations support with rotating on-call duties and shifts
  • comply with SLAs and KPIs
  • use scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in BI support and platform administration within medium to large IT environments
  • effective communicator with a service-oriented, proactive approach
  • detail-oriented, with strong initiative and accuracy
  • fluent English required
  • other European languages (e.g., French) are a plus

Nice to have:

  • Additional knowledge of PowerApps, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Windows Server administration
