We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MES Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across our EDS Plants. This role requires strong technical expertise in MES platforms, .NET development, SQL databases, and integration with ERP and shop-floor systems. The candidate will lead technical teams, ensure solution quality, and drive digital transformation initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the technical design and architecture of MES solutions
Manage end-to-end MES implementation projects, including requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and IT stakeholders to define MES strategies and roadmaps
Ensure MES systems integrate seamlessly with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and IoT devices
Establish coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization guidelines
Troubleshoot complex MES issues and provide long-term solutions
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in MES technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
9+ years of technical experience with strong proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework 4.8), SQL Server, Python, AngularJS, NodeJS
Experience in MES development and implementation
Hands-on experience with MES platforms (ex: Apriso or other platforms)
Expertise in system integration (ERP, SCADA, PLC, IoT)
Knowledge of integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, OPC, MQTT)
Knowledge in Edge device integration with OPC UA, MQTT protocols
Knowledge in automated code quality tools like SonarQube or equivalent
Knowledge in BI & Reporting tools like SSRS / Qlik / PowerBI
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Schedule, Inventory, Production Order Execution, Quality, Plant Performance (OEE) etc. and shop-floor automation
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
Apriso BPM certification with experience in Apriso process builder, Machine Integrator and Business Integrator will be a plus
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT integration
Knowledge in Vision Analytics using AI/ML algorithms
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
