Shop is making shopping better one step at a time for both shoppers and the merchants they buy from. As Merchandising Lead, you'll own Merchandising programs that bring Shop's inventory catalog to life: deciding what gets featured, when, and how it connects to culture, user behavior, and business goals. You'll blend editorial taste with data to curate compelling shopping experiences while building scalable systems, including AI-powered curation principle. This role sits at the intersection of curation, analytics, and program management and you'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Creative, Social, and Data Science.
Job Responsibility:
Design the merchandising calendar: analyze, plan, and launch seasonal integrated campaigns tied to cultural moments and marketing programs
Plan, execute, and evaluate Merchandising programs end-to-end
owning and reporting on key merchandising KPIs and translating insights into playbooks
Leverage AI as a co-pilot to build prompt libraries and review guardrails to source products at scale with human-in-the-loop quality control
Define and orchestrate the channel mix (in-app, CRM, social, paid) for each merchandising campaign to meet business objectives
developing briefs that translate goals into clear direction for creative, social, and CRM teams
Use data to understand Shop app’s inventory supply and match it to user demand
Operate at scale while maintaining clear communication with cross functional partners and leadership
Requirements:
6+ years in e-commerce merchandising, marketplace curation, or digital retail
Strong editorial sensibility—you obsess over product storytelling, visual merchandising, and what makes shopping feel good
Analytical mindset

Experience partnering with brands or merchants on campaigns/programs
Highly organized
