About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Merchandiser to join a growing fashion retail organisation. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process, from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring product excellence, timely execution, and alignment with brand standards. You will work closely with design, production, suppliers, and retail teams to deliver customer-focused collections.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with suppliers to plan, manage, and control inventory levels
Analyse market trends and customer feedback to support future product planning
Review sales performance and prepare reports on growth, expansion, and market changes
Coordinate order placements and oversee sample development processes
Prepare detailed costings and manage order confirmations
Monitor garment quality throughout sampling and production stages
Work closely with design teams on fabric and trim selection
Manage multiple tasks independently while meeting strict deadlines
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in merchandising within a reputed organisation
Strong background in costing, market trend analysis, material sourcing, garment production, and quality assurance
Degree or Higher Diploma in Merchandising, Clothing Technology, or a related field (advantageous)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
Prior retail sector experience will be a strong advantage
