Job Description

Natalie Lue with Robert Half is recruiting a Senior Merchandise Coordinator to support forecast accuracy and product flow for perishable CPG items. Role includes analyzing sales trends, managing demand plans, coordinating with sales and supply chain, and preparing reporting to ensure the right product, in the right place, at the right time. Ideal for someone detail‑oriented with experience in perishables, demand planning, or merchandising.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, with at least 2 years in demand planning or forecasting within retail
  • Proficiency in demand planning tools, with experience in SAP or similar systems being advantageous
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate across teams
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with supply chain logistics and budgeting techniques, including forecasting

  • Procure, review and assess new cost quotes, analyze history and elevate costing challenges to supervisor for costing options/ negotiations
  • Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding style development, production and delivery information
  • Review outstanding issues on Production Status, take action accordingly and elevate to Supervisor as needed
  • Work with Buyers/ Planners on garment cost, buys, production planning, liabilities and delivery
  • Work with regulatory teams to approve main label wording and country of origin information on product labeling
