The Senior Membership Officer – Pakistan plays a critical role in strengthening and expanding Better Cotton’s membership base across Pakistan and Central Asia. Reporting to the Membership Manager and working closely with the global Membership team, this role ensures high-quality member onboarding, engagement, and retention across the supply chain.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the end-to-end membership application process
Respond promptly and professionally to membership enquiries, ensuring accurate and consistent information in collaboration with global teams
Support supplier training delivery to strengthen engagement and improve the flow of Better Cotton through the supply chain
Provide technical support to suppliers and manufacturers on the use of the Better Cotton Platform (BCP)
Support global account managers with cross-regional alignment of messaging and materials
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent higher education qualification
Minimum of three years’ relevant professional experience (e.g., trading, textiles, apparel, or supply chain roles)
Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality service to diverse internal and external stakeholders
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail, particularly in administrative and financial processes
Experience supporting events, training, and stakeholder engagement activities
Proficiency with ICT tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and strong data management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and business correspondence
Ability to work effectively across cultures, teams, and time zones in a fast-paced environment
Strong interest in sustainability, supply chains, and the textiles and apparel sector
Fluency in English and Urdu
Nice to have:
Experience working with textile raw materials or agricultural commodities
Experience in culturally diverse and geographically dispersed organisations
Experience working in both not-for-profit and commercial environments
