Job Description

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic & highly experienced Research Fellow to join the Department of Medical Oncology and work with the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre (CCTC) at Austin Health. The successful applicant will provide expert medical care to medical oncology patients at Austin Health. This includes management of clinical trial patients within the Austin Health Cancer Clinical Trials Centre, and contribution to clinical and translational research within the Austin Cancer Centre. We seek trainees who are interested in developing Clinical Trial expertise in Medical Oncology. This position will commence in February 2027 for a period of two years.

Job Responsibility

  • provide expert medical care to medical oncology patients at Austin Health
  • management of clinical trial patients within the Austin Health Cancer Clinical Trials Centre
  • contribution to clinical and translational research within the Austin Cancer Centre

Requirements

  • Be a registered Medical Practitioner
  • Be undergoing or hold specialist qualifications for Fellowship of College of Physicians or similar
  • Have knowledge and experience in Medical Oncology
