Job Description

We’re hiring a highly technical Senior Media Data Capability Lead to join our AdTech team. This role partners closely with our Media Measurement team, Media Audience team, and AdTech Engineering teams to translate measurement needs into reliable, scalable data solutions. You’ll help define “what good looks like” for media measurement data, ensure data is sourced correctly from multiple systems, and drive execution by working side-by-side with engineering - without being expected to be a day-to-day coder. This is a great fit for someone who can go deep technically (data models, pipelines, logging, APIs, quality checks), understands media and measurement concepts end-to-end, and can navigate ambiguity and senior stakeholders to get outcomes delivered.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive measurement data requirements end-to-end: partner with Media Analytics + Audience teams to capture requirements, define metrics/definitions, and turn needs into actionable technical specs
  • Translate business questions into data solutions: define datasets, event schemas, metric logic, and data contracts that support reporting, experimentation, and optimization
  • Partner deeply with AdTech Engineering: work with engineering teams to design solutions, unblock execution, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Data sourcing & integration: align and validate data coming from multiple sources (platform telemetry, ad platforms, analytics tools, internal systems), ensuring consistency and traceability
  • Quality, governance, and reliability: define and operationalize data QA (completeness, accuracy, timeliness), monitoring, and documentation
  • reduce “mystery metrics”
  • Influence and stakeholder management: communicate clearly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • drive alignment on priorities, tradeoffs, and phased delivery plans
  • Continuous improvement: identify gaps, propose roadmap improvements, and standardize processes for requirements intake, definitions, and delivery
  • Embody our culture and values

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 6+ years of experience in data, measurement analytics, marketing analytics, media measurement, or data engineering-adjacent roles
  • 5+ years of understanding media measurement concepts (impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions
  • basic attribution/measurement considerations)
  • 4+ years in the data space: data modeling, pipelines/ETL/ELT, logging/event data, API-based ingestion, data validation, and warehouse/lake concepts
  • 3+ years reading and reasoning about code (e.g., SQL and one of Python/Scala/JavaScript), review implementation approaches, and collaborate with engineers
  • 3+ years experience translating ambiguous business needs into clear requirements, technical plans, and measurable deliverables

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)

Job Responsibility
  • Partner with Web Analytics, Web Marketing, and Product Marketing to translate business objectives into measurable customer journeys, use cases, and end-to-end digital data capability requirements across web and app experiences
