Job Description:

Due to growth, a well established national Healthcare insurance broking team is looking to attract an experienced Med Mal professional in a leadership role. This role will ideally be based in London, though the individual can be located anywhere in the country, providing regular travel to London is accessible.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help develop a small team of Healthcare Brokers
  • lead by example in terms of client development
  • make an impact in the market
  • managing complex renewals
  • driving new business (mainly retail but also some wholesale)
  • enhancing market relationships
  • acting as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

  • Medical Malpractice technical knowledge
  • relationships with Med Mal Underwriters
  • track record in business development
  • exposure to mid-market risks
  • desire to share knowledge/expertise with team members
  • experience across both retail and wholesale business is an advantage
  • team management skills.
