Job Description

Senior Mechanical Proposals Engineer position in the M Power Projects Division, responsible for leading proposal development, technical design oversight, and cross-functional collaboration for large-scale energy projects

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the analysis of complex customer requirements, providing strategic input to the Proposal Manager and aligning proposed solutions with client expectations and project objectives
  • Ensure timely and successful proposal submissions in line the established targets
  • Oversee the development of engineering designs and technical studies required to support the proposal, ensuring technical robustness and compliance with client and regulatory standards as well identify dependencies, and risks associated with the proposed mechanical engineering solutions, and suggest risk mitigation strategies
  • Develop a deep understanding of the technical scope of tenders and of the proposed products
  • Coordinate and lead collaboration across internal departments (engineering, construction, procurement, etc.), subcontractors, and external consultants, to ensure that all tender requirements are addressed and aligned
  • Represent the technical scope during negotiations with customers and technology partners
  • take full responsibility of preparing, presenting, and defending complex mechanical proposals, engineering methodologies, and project schedules

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a similar senior-level role, with active involvement in proposal development, tendering processes, sales engineering, or the execution of large-scale Energy projects
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application in complex Energy sector projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multicultural, cross-functional project teams across various geographies and time zones
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to interact with both internal stakeholders and external clients/partners at all levels
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to customer and project locations, both in Greece and internationally

Nice to have

Proficiency in French or German will be considered a strong advantage
