Job Description:

We are seeking qualified individuals that would fill full time Senior Mechanical Engineering positions in our Virginia Beach and Richmond offices. The applicant will be involved in the design of HVAC systems for various types of federal, state, municipal, and private sector facilities. Examples include but are not limited to office buildings, retail buildings, restaurants, hospitals and other medical facilities, water and wastewater facilities, entertainment venues, museums, libraries, schools, higher education facilities, and multifamily buildings.

Job Responsibility:

Design of HVAC systems for various types of federal, state, municipal, and private sector facilities
Supervise and manage other staff engineers and technicians

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or Engineering Technology)
Knowledge of ASHRAE and building codes and standards
Experience in the consulting engineering industry
Professional Engineer’s License (PE) or ability to readily obtain licensure
Minimum of 8 years of experience
Higher level of understanding of the consulting engineering industry
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

Project Management experience
