As an Interface Lead, this role provides technical and operational expertise to support the end‑to‑end mechanical, electrical and HVAC program on two major nuclear projects. You will work collaboratively across both projects to identify and propose practical solutions, ensuring that valuable insights and lessons learned from one are effectively captured to provide technical insight to the other. This role will support the latter project by ensuring that the initial reference configuration, based on relevant and up to date deliverables of the benchmark project, is of the highest possible standard. This role involves validating and refining input data, whilst defining, implementing and improving Configuration Management arrangements.
Job Responsibility:
Working collaboratively with stakeholder groups across both projects to ensure a best for project approach to building reference configuration information for use in replication activities
Developing a good understanding of the format and maturity of the initial projects data set to be used as the baseline to support the development of the full suite of engineering sequences required to replicate project design
Supporting the management and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC work-packs within the system to ensure accurate tracking, progress reporting, and integration with project delivery
Developing detailed understanding of the initial projects overall configuration management arrangements, in particular as they pertain to managing the transition from design configuration management to physical configuration
Understanding the ‘lock and freeze’ process and its role in ensuring configuration control as the initial project transitions into installation and then commissioning
Defining, implementing and improving Configuration Management arrangements (e.g. standards, procedures, guidance, forms and tools) to ensure adequate and proportionate configuration control is established and maintained
Resolve issues following delivery of manufactured/fabricated equipment to site, including dimensional discrepancies and installation clashes, managing associated volume and risk

Bachelor’s or Masters in Degree in related discipline
Previous experience in nuclear, or highly regulated projects
Strong understanding of configuration management
Ability to extract data and information to propose improvements within Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC disciplines
