Our client is a premier global integrated design-build firm specializing in complex, large-scale industrial and commercial projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • System Design: Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems (compressed air, steam, chilled water) for sophisticated industrial facilities
  • Technical Leadership: Perform and review complex engineering calculations, including heat load analysis, pressure drop, and equipment sizing using industry-standard software
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the mechanical scope of projects, ensuring designs are compliant with local Malaysian codes (UBBL) as well as international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA)
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with Architects, Structural Engineers, and Process Engineers to ensure a seamless design-build integration
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and quality control reviews for junior and intermediate engineers
  • Sustainable Innovation: Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable design practices to meet client ESG goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in mechanical design, specifically within the AEC or industrial sectors
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit and thermal modeling software (e.g., HAP, TRACE)
  • Deep understanding of industrial utility systems and cleanroom environments is a significant advantage
