Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer

Job Responsibility

  • Review schematic designs of new projects received from the design team, to verify their compliance with local building codes & regulations, Coordinate Mechanical drawings with architectural, structural and Electrical design drawings
  • Identify the Systems that will be used and their specifications. (Mech. Systems) as per Contract (Design DWG’s-Specs-BOQ’s)
  • Prepare working (drawings (Shop-As built-Coordination-Proposal)/Calculations/QS and coordination drawings using Revit or CAD
  • Prepare inquiries and correspondence requests with project’s consultant
  • Apply company and project drafting standards and procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to apply formulas, principles, and practices to complete required models and drawings
  • Provide a range of drawing production work including problem analysis, layout, modelling, detailing, drafting, and coordination with other disciplines on project of substantial variety and complexity
  • Support site engineers on Mech. technical issues in order to ensure solving problems effectively and maintain project progress

Requirements

  • Previous experience from 5-7 years
  • Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent Command of English language
  • Solid experience in using AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft office, Elite ,HAP and BIM
  • SAP User
  • Negotiation and Communication skills
