Demonstrated expertise in maintenance preferred
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

Job Responsibility

Performs all aspects of vehicle and engine repair and maintenance including but not limited to tune up and engine analysis
Diagnose and estimate cost of necessary mechanical repairs to automobiles
Repair vehicles according to diagnosis and estimate
Maintain accurate records of parts and labor utilized
Interacts with customers to give written pricing and repair time estimates
Operates computerized engine diagnostic machine
Supervises other mechanics
Required to repair mechanical failures in buses
Moves vehicles to and from service areas
Performs test drives
