Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and control material requirements in line with production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory targets
  • Manage material planning parameters and reporting through ERP/MRP systems (preferably IFS)
  • Monitor stock levels, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supplier deliveries to ensure material availability
  • Work in close coordination with purchasing, production, sales, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth material flow
  • Analyze planning data, prepare regular reports, and support decision-making with accurate insights
  • Apply lean principles such as JIT and Kanban to improve material planning efficiency
  • Identify potential supply risks in advance and take preventive actions
  • Support continuous improvement activities related to planning accuracy and inventory performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields
  • or in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or similar disciplines
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or purchasing (preferably in the automotive sector)
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (preferably IFS)
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing systems such as JIT (Just in Time) and Kanban
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and a good team player
