Job Description:

The Campaign Enablement and Innovation team is seeking a Senior Marketing Technologist to support presales campaign operations for Microsoft’s global commercial business. This role is ideal for a marketing operations professional who is passionate about modern marketing automation, thrives in collaborative, high‑performing environments, and enjoys bringing complex, large‑scale campaigns to life. You’ll help power Microsoft’s global commercial campaigns through strong technical execution, disciplined operations, and Frontier Marketing practices—including the practical implementation of AI to improve how campaigns are planned, built, and optimized at scale—turning strategy into measurable impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Orchestrate delivery for presales marketing campaigns via Adobe Marketo Engage and related tooling, including planning milestones, driving discussions, and executing against defined outcomes
  • Translate business needs and technical constraints into clear, actionable marketing technology solutions
  • Align campaign build processes to ensure accurate tracking, measurement, and reporting of outcomes
  • Consult on complex, non-standard Marketo builds, including advanced platform usage and capability analysis during intake, triage, and planning sessions
  • Support rollout and adoption of new marketing technology platforms, features, and capabilities by translating requirements into real-life execution
  • Evaluate existing marketing technology processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, translating findings into documented requirements and business justifications
  • Partner closely with campaign leads, marketers, engineering, privacy, and operations teams to drive execution
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, progress updates, and proactive escalation of risks or issues
  • Collaborate across teams and disciplines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in marketing operations, campaign operations, or program/project management within a B2B marketing context OR equivalent experience
  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years technology/process improvement experience
  • Experience designing, building, and executing campaigns using marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
  • Experience troubleshooting and distilling complex topics into clear guidance
  • Experience evaluating data and interpreting results
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • 3+ years experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Adobe Marketo Engage or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with Adobe ecosystem tools (e.g., ACS, AEM)
