Verkada is looking for a Sr. Marketing (Sales) Development Manager that will hire, onboard and train a team of highly driven and hardworking lead-qualified professionals! The Marketing (Sales) Development team is the first interaction with prospective Verkada customers and is key to the success of Verkada.
Job Responsibility:
Hire, mentor, and lead a team of Marketing (Sales) Development Reps
Develop the sales acumen, product knowledge, and industry expertise of each team member
Identify workflow inefficiencies and build workflows for the future
Prioritize improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
Regularly report on Team/Individual KPI’s - Call volume, lead quality, down funnel metrics and pipeline, etc
Work closely with our Growth Marketing team
Work closely with Sales Managers and AEs to ensure lead quality/quantity and efficient follow-up supporting the effective conversion of qualified ICT sales opportunities
Assist with hiring and training future Marketing (Sales) Development Manager
Assist in future quarterly planning for the JAPAC region as it relates to headcount, opportunity volume and expected pipeline to help the Marketing Department hit its aggregate pipeline targets
Requirements:
2+ years managing XDR teams
+2 year of software sales experience, preferably in SaaS/Customer Support/Sales/CRM software
2+ years of management experience, with a consistent track record of building a great working environment
Proven track record of building inbound and outbound sales processes
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or technology
Consistent results of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor
Outstanding time management and communication skills
Solid understanding of sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Clay, etc.)
Experience leading and improving critical metrics
Experience running successful 1 on 1's and weekly/monthly team meetings
Experience handling individual and management expectations (Managing Up)
You must be independently authorized to work in Australia
