Our client, a fast-growing iGaming and betting business, is looking for a commercially driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy, campaign execution, customer growth, and brand visibility across the South African market. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to drive acquisition, retention, player engagement, and brand performance in a competitive online gaming environment. You will work closely with product, CRM, VIP, affiliates, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-impact campaigns that grow revenue and strengthen customer loyalty.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
Drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness initiatives
Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns across digital, CRM, social, partnerships, and events
Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Lead and mentor the marketing team while building a high-performance culture
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and campaign delivery
Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and allocation of spend to maximise ROI
Monitor campaign performance, reporting, and analytics to improve results through data-driven decision making
Oversee affiliate relationships, sponsorships, brand activations, field marketing, VIP events, and promotional partnerships
Collaborate with CRM and VIP teams to improve player engagement and lifecycle marketing strategies
Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Relevant degree or tertiary qualification preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing leadership role within the iGaming, sportsbook, or online casino industry
