Scott Edwards Architecture (SEA) is looking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to advance our pursuit and communication strategies for the firm. SEA has built a strong brand, culture, and reputation for our diverse portfolio in the Pacific Northwest and are excited to elevate the marketing department to further grow our expertise, services, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate has experience working in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry and has a strong writing background. The Senior Marketing Manager will have ownership of SEA’s external brand voice backed by strategies to achieve the firm’s short- and long-term goals.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in leading pursuit strategies
Write custom responses for proposals
Facilitate internal team and client debriefs for continual improvement
Lead PR efforts, build local and national media relationships
Develop and execute PR plans for marketable projects
Plan annual blog calendar to represent diversity of work and support the firm’s growth strategies
Author firm blog posts and support staff thought leadership authorship
Plan and lead local and national awards submissions
Interview project teams to develop written project stories for SEA website
Assist in the development of photography shot lists to support the project story
Develop digital marketing campaign ideas to support thought leadership, market expertise, and creatively showcase active projects
Assist with identifying, pursuing, and preparing for speaking/presenting opportunities at conferences and industry events
Assist Marketing Director in developing annual marketing plan and budget
Assist in managing Marketing Coordinator
Requirements:

Eagerness to learn the technical side of Architecture
Flexibility and comfort adapting to changing priorities
Self-directed, with strong time management skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver quality results on deadlines
Ability to assist in thought leadership development
8+ years of relevant marketing/communications experience required
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
Nice to have:
Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred
Experience using Adobe InDesign is a plus
Experience using Cosential/Unanet is a plus
