Job Description:

Our Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment represents half of Alan's portfolio. You'll own the complete engagement and retention strategy for thousands of companies: from first engagement through renewal. This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You'll define the segment strategy, build scalable email programs, and drive measurable impact on engagement, product adoption, and churn reduction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic planning: define the end-to-end engagement strategy for admins, identifying key needs, pain points, and prioritise initiatives both short-term and long-term
  • Audience intelligence: maintain continuous customer pulse through interviews and call reviews to inform segmentation and messaging strategies
  • Data: continuously improve tracking and analytics, set targets and KPIs for engagement
  • Performance monitoring: deliver regular performance reporting and insights on campaign effectiveness
  • Influence product roadmap: surface segment-specific feature requirements and align product evolution with admin needs
  • Cross-functional partnership: collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Sales and regional teams to ensure consistent execution across markets
  • Renewal ownership: shape the renewal strategy - define the pitch, determine the right balance between personalization and scale, and ensure solutions work across markets while meeting technical constraints
  • Engagement campaigns: design and execute year-round campaigns (medical inflation, prevention, contract management etc.) and lead go-to-market for major product launches
  • Innovation & scale: drive initiatives to globalise email stack and content strategy
  • explore new channels (e.g., voice AI, in-product notifications)

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, Product Marketing or CRM marketing
  • Genuine passion for email as a craft: you love segmentation, A/B testing optimisation, and building scalable email systems
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills: comfortable moving from strategy to hands-on campaign building
  • Data-driven decision maker: comfortable analysing performance data, building dashboards, and using insights to iterate
  • Customer-centric: you regularly talk to customers and use their voice to inform your work
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can manage ambiguity
  • Strong collaborator: able to influence cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data, Sales) and work across geographies
  • Full French and English fluency (written and spoken)
What we offer:
  • Fair rewards. Generous equity packages complement your base salary, for permanent contracts only
  • Flexible Office. Amazing office space at our HQ, sponsored co-working hubs or a full-remote experience with home office equipment sponsorship, we want you to live where you’re the happiest
  • All the tools you need. Top of the range equipment: Macbook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, and Bose noise-canceling headphones
  • Flexible vacation policy and flexible working hours. Organize your time as you wish
  • Delightful healthcare insurance: Extremely comprehensive health insurance - 100% for you and your children, 90-100% for partners depending on your country (permanent contracts only)
  • Transport. Country-specific commuter benefits
  • Learning & Training opportunities. A highly flexible Training policy free books and budget to attend and speak at conferences if the opportunity arises
  • Personal growth through coaching: At Alan, coaching isn't just a perk - it's core to who we are. Every Alaner is paired with a dedicated coach from day one, who helps maximize their impact, nurture engagement, and navigate Alan's values to develop their full potential
  • Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents, for permanent contracts only
