Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced, strategically minded Lead for our Global Mobile Marketing program to drive acquisition for the #1 eCommerce App. You will own global experimentation, and innovation across our paid, owned and organic mobile channels. This role will be responsible for managing App Store Optimization, Push, Mobile Web ingress points to Native App onboarding and Paid Marketing acquisition levers. You will drive measurable business impact, and build worldwide playbooks working with cross-functional partners.

Job Responsibility

  • You will be responsible for managing and executing Global App Store Optimizations, including in-App events, keyword refinement, and localization globally
  • You will be responsible for driving the testing roadmap and management of our non-transactional push notification program
  • You will work closely with our Paid Mobile Marketing lead to support critical paid marketing acquisition programs on endemic and experimental mobile channels
  • You will work closely with our Creative Strategy team to develop effective Mobile Marketing programs that have a positive impact on our brand
  • You will work closely with our engineering and data science teams and lean into marketing tech and automation to drive additional scale to our program.
  • You will work closely with other growth teams to formulate hypotheses and execute on experiments in the marketing funnel that will drive exponential growth for Shopify.
  • You will be responsible for actively communicating the progress and financial health of the program across the organization.

Requirements

  • A successful track record in managing mobile marketing programs, specialized in owned and organic mobile optimization
  • Background working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), to develop measurement solutions, technical integrations and a measurement roadmap
  • Experience building full funnel programs that meet efficiency targets including measurement, creative and tactic level strategy for all parts of the funnel.
  • Ability to analyze raw data and develop actionable insights related to marketing activity. Understanding of basic statistics and mathematical modeling concepts such as statistical significance, standard deviations, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
  • Data visualization skills and the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights. Strong experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Mode, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with SQL. You may not be able to write complex queries from scratch, but you have a high-level understanding of databases and how to query them.
  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can navigate through ambiguity and work with minimal guidance.
