Job Description:

Homes for Students is one of the UK’s leading providers of student accommodation. We are seeking an Senior ambitious Marketing Executive to help us deliver a robust marketing strategy to support our marketing team. The role is based in Liverpool, working 40 hours per week 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. A primary function of this role will be to own our Property Marketing tasks including photography and dressings for new build and operational buildings and monitor Signage and Hoarding requests Working closely with the Campaign, Design and Digital team you will coach and guide a small team to deliver tasks on time to a high standard.

Job Responsibility:

To oversee the Property Marketing team, to meet client expectations
Be able to drive new initiatives to enhance our show flat dressings
Own the relationship with the photographers, work on a plan to educate the wider team on company standards
To oversee all signage requests, bring fresh ideas to develop our current workstreams
The ability to lead, coach and guide a team to deliver high quality work and meet tight deadlines
To manage stock levels of Merchandise working with 3rd party suppliers
Develop content and build relationships with key contacts
Assist with tactical and strategic action plans, explore new ways in which we can market to students
Develop and proactively undertake projects to showcase the brand and its assets to monitor, research and keep abreast of current trends in the student accommodation market and relevant competitors
Maintain strong relationships with key colleagues to communicate plans and complete tasks in a suitable time frame
Comply with Health and Safety working practice in accordance with the company’s policy
To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues
Represent Homes for Students at Housing, Freshers Fairs and Sector events at across the UK
Infrequent travel is a part of this role, visiting our properties all over the UK

Requirements:

Must have strong written skills
Creative mind, and keen eye for detail
Experience with dressing show flats/rooms
Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Good presentation skills in PowerPoint or other
Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines
Ability to work and lead a team
Excellent organisational skills
Confident talking to people
Ability to present to stakeholders when required
Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
Ability to achieve goals and targets within timescales
Must be performance driven
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum guidance
confidence in taking the initiative and making decisions

Minimum 6-12 months experience

Nice to have:

Educated to a degree level in Marketing, Business, or English/Journalism
Experience of marketing in the student sector
Experience of budgetary management and working to financial regulations
Experience of consulting and meeting with customer
