Job Description:

The Benelux Business Analytics team is responsible for business and marketing analytics for Marktplaats and 2dehands. In the role of Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for steering our marketing to the best results using your data-driven approach. Working closely with both the Chief Marketing Officer and our marketeers, CRM and Martech teams, you'll translate complex data into actionable insights that directly influence marketing strategy and budget allocation. You are a high-impact contributor with a strong analytical mindset and a track record of top performance. You bring strategic thinking to the design and evolution of data structures, proactively identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency, and translate complex data into actionable insights. With excellent communication skills, you serve as a trusted partner to both technical teams and business stakeholders—bridging the gap between analysis, engineering, and decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development of the marketing effectiveness framework covering tactics such as CRM, paid media, MMM, SEO, content, email and webinars across the customer journey
  • Lead the continuous development of initiatives as segmentation, CLV and Value Based Bidding
  • Deliver set up experiments and perform channel performance analysis, including incrementality testing, A/B testing and evaluation
  • Set-up, automate, maintain, and own dashboards and reporting structure while closely work together with the CMO to define key metrics and steer the marketing strategy
  • Construct and deliver clear, concise presentations of findings and insights, key product and user performance metrics and management recommendations both in oral and written form

Requirements:

  • Professional experience of 5-8 years
  • Expertise in SQL, Tableau and Excel is required
  • GA4 experience
  • Experience with Python or similar is expected
  • Proven experience in working with large, multisource data sets and usage of analytics to drive business and product decisions and strategy
  • Great stakeholder management skills, able to set priorities and manage own time within a varied stakeholder landscape
  • Ability to work in an agile and flexible environment where change is part of the day-to-day environment
