Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Market Risk Specialist for the Market Risk Governance and Regulatory Relations team within Corporate Market Risk Group (CMRG), focused primarily on regulatory commitments, RCSA activities, audit/testing engagements, control development and procedures, issue management and strategic initiatives. This role will cover several key CMRG governance functions, including significant exposure across various trading desks, Market Risk Oversight, and support functions.

Job Responsibility:

Lead governance activities for CMRG
Participate in remediating internal issues and regulatory commitments
Manage RCSA activities for CMRG
Update CMRG procedures and communicate changes
Lead or participate in risk program development
Implement initiatives with moderate to high risk
Provide oversight of market risk activities

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in trading, desk analyst, Capital Markets, market risk, interest rate risk, corporate risk RCSA activities
Proven track record in governance oversight for corporate risk, including development and management of procedures
Hands-on experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes
Skilled in managing regulatory commitments and internal priorities
Demonstrated ability to ensure effective governance programs, oversight mechanisms, and control frameworks
Collaborative experience working with trading desks and support teams

Nice to have:

Experience in regulatory relations
Background in corporate and investment banking market risk
Knowledge of FINRA requirements
Experience with internal audit processes
