Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a major pet insurer as Senior Market Pricing Analyst where you will have responsibility for analysing and managing pricing strategies to support the future growth and profitability of the business. This is an exciting growth opportunity which offers a high level of flexible working and the chance to shape the future of the pet insurance industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyse and manage pricing strategies to support future growth and profitability
  • Assess the impact of price changes pre- and post-change using Radar
  • Continually analyse the effectiveness of ongoing pricing decisions
  • Develop an understanding of price elasticity and factors that drive effective price positioning
  • Collaborate with the rate implementation team to ensure prices are accurately implemented
  • Support the build of pricing infrastructure, processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Part-qualified GI actuary with pricing expertise
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Sound theoretical and practical understanding of personal lines underwriting and pricing principles
  • Strong data and analytical skills, working with large volumes of complex data
  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, VBA is desirable
  • Experience using Radar and Emblem is desirable
