Job Description:

The Senior Managing Consultant in Public Sector will lead consulting engagements, mentor junior consultants, and drive business development initiatives. Candidates should have extensive experience in management consulting, particularly in the public sector, and a strong background in change management and technology adoption. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, or technology is required, along with relevant certifications. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage multiple consulting engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders in existing and new clients
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership and best practices in change and transformation
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the practice

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as a management consultant including business development, engagement management and leading consulting teams
  • Proven experience in supporting or leading the adoption of new technologies and ways of working within the UK public sector, including deep expertise in two or more of the following: Strategy Development, Process and Operating model redesign, Change & Adoption Management, Product Management, Customer Insight
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management or technology, or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of relevant continued professional education, for example certifications related to Consulting, business architecture, business analysis, change management and Product management
  • Be willing to be undergo vetting and security clearance
