Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Technology Design - ICT to manage a team responsible for designs of WeWork IT, AV & security infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the team of Member Solutions team responsible for WeWork’s technology infrastructure designs and client’s custom requirements
  • Manage the delivery of best in class customer experience and creative solutions designed to meet the technology requirements of our end customers
  • Drive revenue creation for WeWork through the sale and design of technology services in partnership with internal stakeholders and WeWork members
  • Collaborate with leadership across Sales to manage the intake process of members in their pipeline and provide a central point of contact for technical knowledge
  • Work cross functionally to drive larger scale technology design projects with internal stakeholders within Technology, Development, Operations, Security and Real Estate
  • Own performance management & analytics and drive team process improvement
  • Ensure team processes and documentations are maintained and seek opportunities to improve them
  • Own relationship with IT/AV/Security design consultants
  • Investigate new partnerships and ensure no risks to the business with gaps in coverage or diversity of competition
  • Define metrics for reporting purposes and analyze trends to identify market opportunities in collaboration with international Member Solutions teams
  • In conjunction with International Member Solutions team define and report on team goals that are aligned with the department and company objectives
  • Ensure the Member Solutions team provides seamless handover of requirements to Infrastructure Engineering delivery and Network teams
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering to align on infrastructure standards and design best practices for custom solutions
  • Support Sales and Real Estate teams in pre-sales client calls and tours with regards to Telecom IT, AV, and Security products and services
  • Develop best practices for the Member Solutions team while continually looking to improve and refine processes
  • Provide training and resources for Members Solutions team to be subject matter experts on WeWork technology product offerings
  • Create internal facing documentation outlining standard technology offerings with regards to Telecom IT, AV, and Security
  • Support and mentor employees in achieving career goals and create training paths
  • Recruitment and interviewing of potential new team members
  • Ensure WeWork Technology standards are followed
  • Review tenders and price comparison for large scale projects
  • Technology related construction management & escalation including reports and failures
  • Works with global team to roll out new processes & standards
  • Champions Building Technology Standards and identifies and suggests improvements for future iterations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Information Technology
  • 5+ years experience managing client facing consulting teams
  • Technical subject matter expert in at least two of: Cabling, Active IT/Network, Audio-Visual, Security
  • Experience in having direct responsibility for producing coordinated Low Voltage and / or Telecommunications construction documents
  • Broad knowledge of low voltage infrastructure, structured cabling and coordination strategy with focus on telecommunications and / or audio visual design
  • Have extensive experience of program management and construction project delivery
  • Proficiency in producing and interpreting floor plans and technical drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of the design and construction of IT Closets, MDF and Electrical Equipment Rooms
  • Understanding of network architecture and information security compliance
  • Habitually thinking outside the box and exploring new ways to execute projects
  • Gets happy and excited that no two days are the same & loves working with numerous people day to day
