The Senior Manager, Systems and Master Data Management Lead role is responsible for leading a team that ensures enterprise Engineering, Facilities, and EHS systems and data platforms provide standardized, scalable, and secure business processes and analytics. This role drives disciplined system governance and master data management practices that support and improve enterprise analytics, system integrations, and operational decision-making. This leader ensures trusted, consistent, and governed master data across the global ecosystem while enabling data to be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). The role partners closely with Technology, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated system and data capabilities that support Engineering operations and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Builds and leads a high-performing technical team by hiring, developing talent, and driving accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with business goals
Ensures enterprise systems and data platforms enable standardized, scalable, and secure business processes and analytics
Owns systems and data roadmaps aligned with Clean Core principles and enterprise architecture standards
Translates business requirements into scalable systems and data designs that support sustainable and integrated solutions
Governs system configurations, integrations, and changes while minimizing unnecessary customization
Defines and governs master data standards, ownership, and lifecycle management across Engineering, Facilities, and EHS domains
Ensures trusted, consistent master data supporting enterprise analytics, system integration, and operational decision-making
Manages master data quality, metadata management, cataloging, and issue resolution at the root cause
Ensures data is discoverable, controlled, interoperable, and reusable across the enterprise ecosystem in alignment with FAIR data principles
Enables data architecture and pipelines that support reliable analytics, reporting, and operational insights
Supports cross-system integrations and reconciliation across enterprise platforms
Collaborates with Centers of Excellence (COE), Master Data Management, Continuous Improvement, and Reporting teams to enable reliable analytics and insights
Ensures system upgrades and enhancements are simple, cost-effective, secure, and aligned with enterprise governance and cybersecurity requirements
Maintains strong governance discipline and controls to ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational reliability
Partners closely with Technology, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to align systems and data capabilities with enterprise priorities
Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
12-17 years of work experience in the related field
Nice to have:
Experience managing technical professionals, providing strategic and tactical direction, supporting staff professional development, and delivering team performance
Experience with enterprise systems supporting Engineering, Facilities, or Asset Management environments (e.g., SAP, EAM, CMMS, or similar platforms)
Experience implementing or managing master data management frameworks, data governance programs, or data quality initiatives
Familiarity with data architecture concepts, system integrations, and enterprise data ecosystems supporting analytics and reporting
Understanding of Clean Core principles and enterprise platform governance in complex systems environments
Experience supporting enterprise analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI or similar reporting tools)
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical, system, or data-driven topics to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and fast-paced global environment
Proven experience managing multiple priorities, interdependencies, and competing demands while maintaining strong execution discipline
Strong collaboration and influencing skills, including the ability to lead outcomes of extended teams without direct reporting authority over team members
Experience partnering with Technology, Operations, Quality, Compliance, and Business stakeholders in regulated environments
Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics, analytics, or insights to guide decisions and continuous improvement
Demonstrated capability to support change management, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience working across regions and time zones with cultural awareness and adaptability
