In this vital role, you will provide strategic oversight for resource planning and allocation across global clinical programs and countries, ensuring alignment with portfolio priorities, business objectives, and operational capacity. You will act as a senior leadership partner to key GDO functions and may serve as the single point of accountability for oversight of a Full-Service Provider (FSP).
Job Responsibility:
Provide strategic oversight for resource planning and allocation across global clinical programs and countries
Lead the development of accurate, forward-looking resource forecasts & hiring plans
Analyze historical and real-time data to identify trends, anticipate capacity gaps, and identify opportunities & mitigations
Serve as the single point of accountability for ensuring consistent, equitable, and strategically aligned resource allocation decisions
Develop, own and oversee hiring plans in partnership with HR and GDO SPOs
Provide leadership oversight for the FSP engagement model
Act as the trusted liaison to functional leadership, program partners, and country resource points of contact
Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical execution experience
Master’s degree and 6 years of clinical execution experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of clinical execution experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of clinical execution experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of clinical execution experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources
Nice to have:
7+ years of experience in life sciences, including 5+ years in biopharmaceutical clinical research
Experience managing teams across multiple geographies
Experience overseeing CROs and other clinical vendors
Strong understanding of global clinical trial operations and resource management
