Your teams will be experts in modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and will partner closely with Product, Analytics, Design, and Marketing to deliver measurable, data-driven business outcomes. You will also be leading a small pod of mobile engineers. This role is ideal for a strong senior technical people leader who excels in metrics-driven environments, drives clarity and urgency across teams, and amplifies impact through strong systems, processes, and talent development. You will also play a key role in leveraging AI tools and workflows to meaningfully increase engineering velocity, experimentation speed, and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, scale, and operate multiple Growth Engineering pods, setting clear direction, ownership, and accountability tied to growth metrics
  • Partner with Product, Analytics, Design, and Marketing leadership to translate growth strategy into roadmaps, experiments, and durable systems
  • Own delivery excellence for your teams—improving speed, efficiency, predictability, and quality while balancing rapid experimentation with long-term maintainability
  • Establish and reinforce a metrics-first culture, ensuring teams define success clearly, review outcomes rigorously, and iterate based on data
  • Provide technical and architectural leadership across modern web stacks (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), including server-side and client-side rendering
  • Engage at the code and system level as needed to unblock teams, guide technical direction, and maintain a high engineering bar
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered development tools and workflows to reduce toil, accelerate experimentation, and improve overall developer effectiveness
  • Build strong, durable cross-geo partnerships with US-based teams, creating clear operating rhythms and communication patterns across time zones
  • Attract, hire, and retain top-tier engineering talent
  • develop senior engineers and tech leads into force multipliers
  • Coach engineers and leaders at all levels through feedback, career development, and clear expectations
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement, while ensuring platform stability and reliability
  • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives, standards, and leadership discussions across EarnIn

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 3+ years leading engineering teams or multiple pods
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams and execution in fast-moving, metrics-driven environments
  • Strong track record of delivering sustained impact in Growth, experimentation, or consumer-facing web products
  • Excellent knowledge of front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS
  • Experience building and supporting client-side and server-side rendered web applications at scale
  • Strong technical judgment with the ability to guide architecture, review designs, and mentor senior engineers
  • Highly metrics-oriented—focused on outcomes, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Exceptional cross-functional partner to PMs, Analysts, Designers, and Marketers
  • Clear, effective communicator who can bridge Bangkok- and US-based teams across time zones and cultures
  • Comfortable using—or eager to adopt—modern AI tools to improve engineering workflows and experimentation velocity

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SEO, performance optimization, and discoverability-focused web development
  • Broad understanding of development across the stack, with comfort in reasoning about APIs, services, data flows, and experimentation platforms beyond the web layer
What we offer:
  • Healthcare
  • Internet/cell phone reimbursement
  • Learning and development stipend
  • Potential opportunities to travel to our Mountain View HQ
