Job Description:

Senior Manager SHEQ for Internal Fleet Europe responsible for Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality activities. Establishes and maintains SHEQ framework and tools to support safe and efficient truck operations. Manages governing documents and procedures, ensures legal compliance, and may include future personnel management. Reports to Director IHF Europe and is part of the European IHF leadership team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish and maintain SHEQ framework and tools to support a safe and efficient truck operation
  • Overall responsibility for the Internal Fleets governing documents and procedures
  • Ensure that legal requirements related to SHEQ is known and understood across the Circle K Transport organization
  • Coordinate authority reporting by country
  • Coordinate and perform internal and external audits and inspections
  • Provide leadership and support to managers
  • Perform investigations and spread learnings
  • Maintain a safe, positive, energetic, and healthy work environment for the drivers
  • Promote sufficient risk awareness in the European internal fleet
  • Coordinate the Internal Fleet Europe's Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  • Implement and monitor operational procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance

Requirements:

  • Higher relevant education (Industrial Engineering, Crisis Management, Police etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant industry laws connected to labor law and regulations for ADR transport
  • A proven track record for excellent HSSE results
  • Demonstrated experience from first line response and/or safety advisory is preferred
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Hands on personality with the ability to create, implement and drive long term initiatives
  • Ability to connect and build strong relationships with others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated experience from first line response and/or safety advisory
  • Curious, and with a drive to proactively develop insight to support the company in developing the business
