Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Search Data & Insights to lead the enterprise-wide search strategy, driving business growth through data intelligence, innovation, and cross-functional influence. In this highly strategic role, you will shape the future of search at scale, ensuring that search data and insights inform executive decision-making, marketing investments, and digital transformation. As a key leader in our media organization, you will set the vision for search analytics, automation, and data integrity, ensuring alignment across marketing, analytics, and technology teams. Your expertise in search performance, AI-driven insights, and business storytelling will enable you to influence leadership at all levels and optimize the role of search within the broader media and marketing ecosystem.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate complex search performance data into clear, actionable insights that inform business and marketing strategies
  • Develop compelling narratives using search data to illustrate trends, user behavior, and opportunities for optimization
  • Utilize visual storytelling techniques (dashboards, reports, and presentations) to make data insights more digestible for senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Leverage AI and automation to uncover hidden patterns in search data, turning them into proactive recommendations
  • Act as a strategic advisor by communicating data-backed insights in a way that drives action
  • Improve site architecture, page speed, and internal linking to ensure efficient crawling, indexing, and ranking
  • Ensure search engines can efficiently crawl, index, and rank content by improving site architecture, page speed, and internal linking
  • Collaborate with IT and Product teams to implement SEO best practices, balancing technical feasibility with business priorities
  • Monitor and adapt to search engine algorithm changes, providing proactive recommendations to maintain and improve rankings
  • Act as a bridge between teams, ensuring search insights shape digital strategy, content development, and user experience
  • Advocate for search innovation and best practices, influencing senior executives and key stakeholders with clear, compelling insights
  • Foster a culture of collaborative problem-solving by integrating search insights across marketing campaigns and content strategies
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of search experts, fostering a culture of growth and innovation
  • Coach and mentor team members, empowering them to excel in their careers and contribute to the company’s success
  • Establish best-in-class processes for search strategy execution, ensuring consistency and scalability
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to diverse stakeholders, including executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience leading search strategy or digital performance analytics in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Deep expertise in search intelligence, AI-driven automation, and predictive analytics, with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes
  • Proven success in driving enterprise search innovation and automation at scale
  • Proven ability to drive collaboration across teams, aligning technical, creative, and business perspectives to achieve search excellence
  • Strong track record of leveraging AI, automation, and data science to enhance search performance and scalability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree Related field such as marketing, communications, computer science or information technology. (Preferred)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree MBA or Master of Science (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
