Job Description:

Role Overview: You will oversee life insurance applications, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance while partnering with Underwriting and Distribution teams. This role is vital for streamlining the application process for HNW clients in the dynamic Hong Kong insurance market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and preview incoming life insurance applications to ensure total completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate closely with Underwriting and Distribution teams to obtain required medical reports and facilitate final underwriting decisions
  • Liaise with Distribution teams to ensure all documentation complies with sales procedures, internal policies, and Hong Kong regulatory requirements
  • Track and monitor the progress of applications to ensure timely processing and approval within set service levels
  • Communicate effectively with insurance intermediaries and internal departments regarding application status and specific requirements
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all application reviews and professional correspondence
  • Stay updated on the latest industry regulations, product features, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Proven experience in life insurance underwriting, case management, or a related operational role
  • Strongly preferred experience within the High Net Worth (HNW) insurance field
  • Robust understanding of medical underwriting procedures and insurance regulations in Hong Kong
  • Good communication and coordination skills in Cantonese and English
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance and sales practices within the insurance industry
