Job Responsibility
Define and own the Sales Academy strategy, aligned with Vodacom DRC commercial objectives and Group standards
Position training as a strategic lever to drive sales performance, productivity, and customer experience
Establish governance, standards, and frameworks for all sales training interventions
Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs covering: Products & services
Sales skills & distribution best practices
Tools, systems, and processes
Customer experience & service excellence
Ensure all Sales & Distribution staff and partners are trained ahead of new product launches and major updates
Validate training content accuracy and compliance with Vodacom policies
Ensure systematic assessment of skills gaps and training needs across sales channels
Define and track training effectiveness KPIs and performance impact
Oversee the maintenance of training matrices, reports, and dashboards (daily, weekly, monthly)
Lead, coach, and develop Sales Academy team members
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
Ensure optimal resource allocation across training initiatives
Act as a key business partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Operations, and Technology teams
Contribute to new product development processes, including user testing and readiness enablement
Provide advisory support to Sales leadership on people capability and performance improvement
Manage Sales Academy projects end to end, ensuring timely and quality execution
Own and manage the Sales Academy budget efficiently
Ensure compliance with Vodacom rules, policies, and data protection requirements (GDPR)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Psychology, HR, or related field
Master's degree is an advantage
Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in Sales Training, Sales Enablement, or Capability Development
Strong experience in Sales & Distribution environments, preferably in Telecommunications
Proven leadership experience managing teams and large scale training programs
Exposure to customer experience, service & selling, and partner/channel management
