Job Responsibility:

  • Lead market and competitive analysis for robotics and physical AI systems in China, identifying growth segments, customer needs, and competitive positioning
  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies to grow AMD adoption with robotics OEMs, ODMs, system integrators, and strategic accounts
  • Enable and train AMD sales, field application engineers, and partners on robotics solutions, value propositions, and use cases
  • Build and expand a strong local robotics ecosystem, including software vendors, middleware providers, platform partners, and solution integrators
  • Represent AMD at industry events, conferences, customer briefings, and trade shows in China, acting as a trusted industry spokesperson
  • Collaborate closely with product planning, engineering, marketing, and global business teams to influence roadmap, go-to-market, and positioning based on China market requirements
  • Provide structured customer and partner feedback to internal teams to support product differentiation and long-term strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, market development, strategic marketing, or similar roles within robotics, automation, AI, or embedded systems
  • Strong understanding of China’s robotics market, customers, partners, and industry dynamics
  • Proven ability to engage senior customer and partner stakeholders and drive complex business discussions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical and business value clearly
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel domestically within China with occasional international travel as required

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with semiconductor, compute, or acceleration platforms used in robotics or edge AI systems
  • Prior experience enabling or supporting sales and field teams in a customer-facing role
  • Familiarity with robotics software frameworks, AI/ML workloads, and edge computing architectures
  • Demonstrated success in building local partnerships and scaling new business initiatives in China
