Job Description:

Contribute to the development and promotion of technology portfolio project management practices. Drive program delivery and support senior project/program managers. Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the development and promotion of technology portfolio project management practices and the broader Platforms strategy
  • Drive program delivery, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget, and risks
  • Support senior project/program managers across all initiative lifecycle stages for complex projects
  • Lead definition of staffing/resourcing, responsibilities, and schedules
  • Establish effective program controls and procedures
  • Drive the adoption of HSBC standards and Change framework
  • Manage program financial management including headcount and software delivery capitalization
  • Decompose business requirements into Epics and User Stories for delivery by Technology teams
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive Agile methodology within technology teams
  • Negotiate and manage service agreement monitoring of external suppliers
  • Report progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to steering committees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or any STEM field
  • 10 years of work experience (of which 5 must be progressive, post-baccalaureate experience)
  • 5 years of experience in project management or a product management role
  • 5 years of experience in commercial banking, product delivery, or risk and operations
  • 5 years of experience in Agile methodology
  • 5 years of experience creating and executing on new business strategies
  • 5 years of experience designing and delivering change into organizations
  • 5 years of experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, including rules and standards.
