Job Description

As a Senior Manager on the Spend Operations team, you will be focused on the credit card clearing process and the end-to-end credit card transaction lifecycle. You will be responsible for uncovering risks, preventing breakdowns, and creating an environment that is well managed and always audit ready. You will partner with product and technology teams to drive flawless execution and establish a robust control suite. A key part of this role will be developing and leading your team, while also influencing others across the organization to adopt a 'well managed' mindset.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the control suite for Card Clearing including control builds, control strategy and control testing
  • Identify, escalate, and control risks within the transaction lifecycle (Authorizations, Clearing, and Posting)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments including Product, Technology, Risk and Compliance
  • Deliver and maintain a well-managed ecosystem for Card Clearing including leading exams, risk events, controls and process documentation
  • Understand the data and technology to proactively identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with Product and Tech leaders
  • Provide effective coaching, consistent feedback, and develop associate's skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of Project Management or Process Management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with controls or audit
  • At least 2 years of experience working with analytical, data management, or software engineering teams
  • At least 2 years of People Management experience
