Job Description

The Senior Manager, Production Operations, is responsible for leading overall warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and workforce management across multiple shifts. This role ensures the site meets operational performance targets and service expectations while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Senior Manager serves as the key liaison between the distribution center and cross-functional support groups such as Transportation, Inventory, Safety, Finance, and Human Resources.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead overall warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and workforce management across multiple shifts
  • Ensure site meets operational performance targets and service expectations
  • Provide leadership and direction for daily and strategic warehouse operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse management staff
  • Monitor and drive performance using KPIs
  • Conduct daily operational reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, and company-specific regulatory standards
  • Develop operational forecasts and resource plans
  • Promote hands-on leadership style
  • Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive warehouse/distribution leadership experience, including 3+ years managing leaders or teams
  • Experience in the food, grocery, or consumer goods industry preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
