Job Description:

Enterprise Procurement Sr. Contracts Manager responsible for supporting CVS Health enterprise drafting, negotiating, and finalizing IT and Non-IT deals and contractual documents for purchase of non-merchandise goods and services in accordance with corporate policies.

Job Responsibility:

Draft, prepare and review contract documents
Lead supplier contract exercises by negotiating all key terms
Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions
Communicate importance of required terms to internal and external stakeholders
Interact with key CVS subject matter experts
Partner with Sourcing colleagues to support RFP development
Identify contractual risks and escalate to Senior Leadership
Participate in presentations and educational sessions
Utilize technological tools
Manage multiple high visibility contracts/projects
Collaborate to maintain Enterprise Procurement Manual and templates
Support Contract Administration function

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of professional work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a contracts support environment
Minimum 5 years drafting complex contractual documents, memorandum, terms and conditions
Minimum 3 years of professional experience and knowledge advising senior leaders/executives on contract law and risks
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & high volume of contractual negotiations simultaneously
Verifiable Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university required

Nice to have:

Experience as a recurring user of Ariba Contract Management platform
Experience negotiating non-merchandise/indirect commodity purchases of goods/services deals
Experience within the Retail and/or Healthcare Industries
Legal degree or degree in contract administration, public administration, business management
MBA or JD
Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified Public Purchasing Officer (C.P.P.O), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (C.F.C.M.), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (C.P.C.M.) designations
Professional experience managing, training and developing people
