We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement with IVRS experience to join our diverse and dynamic team. As the Senior Manager in this role at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement function, ensuring the strategic sourcing of goods and services that support our clinical operations. Your leadership will be essential in driving cost efficiencies, enhancing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with ICON's operational goals and objectives
  • Managing supplier selection processes, negotiations, and contract management to secure the best terms and conditions for the organization
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and optimize sourcing strategies for clinical trial materials and services
  • Monitoring procurement performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in procurement to enhance ICON's sourcing strategies and supplier management

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS) are preferred
  • Extensive experience in procurement and sourcing, ideally within the healthcare or clinical research sectors
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
